A leading capital markets technology business is hiring a senior IC to drive the commercial development of its Compliance & Trade Surveillance offering.
What you’ll be doing: Join client meetings, discovery sessions and RFPs as the regulatory and surveillance SMELead client-specific demos and presentations, helping move opportunities from initial engagement through to commitment Work closely with Sales to identify opportunities within existing institutional client relationships Shape commercial positioning, thought leadership and market strategy for the business Partner with Product and Customer Support to bring client and market feedback into the product roadmap Track regulatory developments and translate them into relevant client use cases and commercial opportunities Represent the business at industry conferences, roundtables and events Key skills / experience:8+ years in capital markets regulation, compliance, surveillance or a closely related area Deep knowledge of trade surveillance, market abuse and capital markets regulation Strong understanding of frameworks such as MiFID II, MAR, Dodd-Frank, etc. Comfortable operating in a client-facing, commercially oriented environment Experience with demos, RFPs, presentations or consultative engagements Strong ability to bridge Regulatory, Sales, Product and Customer-facing teams Excellent communication skills and confidence representing a business externally Self-directed, commercially minded and comfortable in a high-autonomy IC role The role is open in NYC or Chicago.
