We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Industrial Electrician to oversee complex electrical installations and system upgrades across various project sites. You will serve as a technical authority, ensuring all work meets rigorous safety standards and project specifications while mentoring junior team members to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of electrical projects, including system modifications, relocations, and large-scale installations. Manage project-level material procurement and ensure site resources are organized for maximum efficiency. Implement and verify strict Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures to guarantee a secure working environment. Perform precision tasks such as conduit bending, wire pulling, and complex terminations for power distribution systems. Supervise the installation of panels, motors, and control wiring, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship throughout the project lifecycle. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices and journeymen to foster professional growth and team productivity. Coordinate with project engineers to translate technical requirements into successful field outcomes.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Active Master Electrician license and completion of an accredited electrical trade program. Extensive background in industrial electrical systems, including three-phase power and advanced wiring methods. Proven ability to read blueprints, apply electrical theory, and adhere to National Electrical Codes. Capability to operate heavy equipment such as aerial lifts and forklifts safely. Flexibility to travel nationwide and maintain a reliable vehicle for work-related transit. Strong problem-solving skills with a minimum of 15 years of trade experience.
Preferred Skills:
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing field crews and project timelines. Advanced proficiency in specialized conduit bending and complex circuit troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with clients and site management.
