Responsibilities:
Watch individuals swimming to ensure safety. Point out any unsafe behaviors within the pool facility and address them. Assist with swim lessons as needed, providing support to instructors and swimmers. Swim to build endurance and improve personal swimming skills. Prepare for Lifeguard course prerequisites by practicing necessary skills and techniques.
Minimum Entrance Qualifications:
Swimming: Comfortable and skilled in swimming. Attentiveness: Ability to stay focused and alert while monitoring swimmers. Comfortable in swimming attire: Able to wear swimwear and maintain comfort while performing duties. Willing to swim daily: Ready and willing to participate in daily swim practices.
