Youth Development Instructor — BridgeHeartBridgeHeart is seeking a caring, engaging, and experiencedYouth Development Instructorto deliver our school-based personal development curriculum to teenagers. The instructor will lead interactive sessions designed to help students developself-awareness, self-esteem, happiness, emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and positive decision-making skills. The goal is to create a safe environment where students can openly participate, reflect on their experiences, recognize their strengths, and develop practical tools for handling challenges.
Responsibilities include: Deliver BridgeHeart’s structured youth development curriculum in a classroom setting. Lead engaging discussions, activities, exercises, and group conversations. Build positive and trusting relationships with students. Encourage students to develop confidence, self-awareness, and healthy coping skills. Help students identify personal strengths, values, goals, and positive qualities. Create a supportive, respectful, and non-judgmental classroom environment. Work professionally with school staff and the BridgeHeart team. Provide feedback on student engagement and program effectiveness.
Ideal candidate: We are looking for someone who iswarm, confident, professional, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable working with teenagers. Experience in education, youth development, counseling, psychology, social-emotional learning, mentoring, or a related field is preferred. This is afacilitation and youth-development position, The instructor will teach and facilitate the BridgeHeart curriculum This type of youth-development role commonly combines relationship-building, life-skills instruction, and social-emotional development.
