Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
- Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized therapeutic recreation programs
- Lead engaging group and one-on-one activities
- Adapt interventions based on residents' abilities and preferences
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Support meaningful engagement for residents living with dementia
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Music Therapy
- Certification preferred
- Experience in dementia care and/or long-term care preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative, energetic, and team-oriented
- Availability to work Sundays and holidays
