The City of Casper is hiring Part-Time Bus Drivers to safely transport passengers and provide friendly, dependable public transit service to our community.   • Drive city buses on established routes
  • Assist passengers, including wheelchair users, with safe boarding
  • Keep your bus clean, safe, and running smoothly

What You'll Need:
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Valid Wyoming CDLAbility to obtain a passenger endorsement in 6 months
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
  • One year of bus driving experience preferred
  • A positive attitude and strong sense of safety

  • Incumbents are responsible for day-to-day operation of a Public Transit bus.
  • Receives direction from Transit Supervisor or higher-level management staff.

Driving records are required for all new employees regardless of the position's driving requirements. If the employee has not held a Wyoming driver's license for the last three years, the employee must provide at their own initiation and expense a driving record from their previous state(s) of residence. Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Incumbents in this position work primarily in the field, operating transit buses, regardless of weather conditions. Drivers are exposed to noise, fumes, and various road conditions.
