Residential & Light Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric seeks an HVAC Maintenance Technician to service residential and light commercial customers across the Northeast. In this field-based role, you’ll perform inspections, tune-ups, and repairs on heating and cooling systems, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure safe, energy-efficient operation. You’ll represent Sila in customers’ homes, explaining findings, options, and maintenance plans with professionalism and courtesy. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups on residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Diagnose and repair heating and cooling equipment issues safely and efficiently. Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls, providing courteous in-home customer service. Document findings, recommendations, and work performed using company systems. Follow all safety procedures, codes, and company standards while working on-site. Communicate repair options, pricing, and maintenance plans clearly to customers. Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and team members to ensure timely service. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean and ready condition.
