Full-Stack Engineer Pragmatike recruits for a fast-growing technology company focused on data-intensive platforms used on a large scale across multiple markets. The product is centered around automation, data extraction, and intelligent workflows with a strong emphasis on backend reliability and execution speed. We are looking for a full-stack engineer (with a preference for backend) to support end-to-end functionalities. The role is approximately 70% backend and 30% frontend, ideal for engineers who enjoy in-depth backend work while staying close to product delivery.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain backend services with Python and Node.js.
Manage APIs, business logic, and data flows with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.Contribute to the frontend (approximately 30%).Build and maintain web scraping and data ingestion pipelines (if legal and ethical).Utilize AI-assisted coding tools.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams.
Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of systems.
Participate in technical decisions and architecture.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering.
- Strong backend experience with Python and/or Node.js.
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.Comfortable with frontend code.
- Experience/interest in scraping and data-dense systems.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
- Strong ownership and autonomy mindset.
- Authorization to work in Canada.
