Job Description: Duties/
Responsibilities:
Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished equipment according to blueprints, engineering drawings, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. Install mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and other system components as assigned. Operate common hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively. Verify parts and materials prior to assembly and report any non-conforming materials, damaged components, or drawing discrepancies to the Supervisor or Team Lead. Complete in-process quality inspections throughout the assembly process and repair defects when identified. Document quality concerns and production information standardized assembly procedures to ensure products are built correctly the first time and meet customer established daily, weekly, and monthly production TAKT times and shipping schedules. Ensure subassemblies are completed and available to support production line requirements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve product quality, efficiency, and profitability. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting all 5S all company safety policies and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).Notify leadership of equipment issues or maintenance concerns. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools. Ability to read measuring devices and follow written instructions. Strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills/Abilities: Previous manufacturing or assembly experience. Basic blueprint reading skills. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED.0–2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday. Must be physically able to safely lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate assembly tools and equipment. Additional Job Information:
