Non-Clinical - Food and Nutrition Services - Cook

Location: Lynn, MA

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 13 Week (Possible extension)

Shift: 8hr Days 9:30 AM - 06:00 PM (Fri-Mon)

Guaranteed Hours: 32 Hours Pay Package: Gross Weekly: $800/Week Hourly W2: $25/hour

Requirements: Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Cook or in Food Service Experience in a cafeteria, healthcare, rehab, or institutional setting preferred Ability to prepare meals in bulk and follow a structured menu Basic knowledge of nutrition and menu planning Experience with food preparation, labeling, and next-day prep Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, hygiene, and food safety standards Ability to handle dishwashing, cleaning, and kitchen maintenance Experience with buffet-style or self-service setups (preferred)Familiarity with inventory management and supply ordering (preferred)Serv Safe or food safety certification preferred High School Diploma or GED required Valid Driver’s License (preferred)Ability to work with a diverse or behavioral health/substance abuse population in a respectful manner Strong teamwork, reliability, and time management skills
