Seeking an experienced, safety-focused Tug Boat Captain to operate a 25.9' tug and safely maneuver, shift, position, and transport barges throughout the Port of Iberia.
Key requirements include:
Previous tug boat/work boat operating experience required Previous barge-handling experience required Ability to safely maneuver and handle barges in confined areas Strong communication and safety awareness Ability to work outdoors and assist with other operational duties when barge activity is limited Barge activity is expected approximately 50% of the year, with other duties assigned during periods of reduced activity.
Shifts:
