Certified Medical Assistant

Erickson Senior Living seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support our Healthcare & Medical Services department in delivering exceptional care to senior residents. In this onsite role, you’ll perform vital signs, intake, EKGs, and phlebotomy; assist providers with exams; and document accurately in the EHR. You’ll coordinate appointments, reinforce care plans, and uphold infection control standards. Working within a resident-first, team-focused culture, you’ll collaborate with nurses and providers to promote seniors’ wellbeing while growing your skills in a stable, mission-driven organization. Perform patient intake, including vital signs and medical history, for senior residents Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, and treatments within scope Document care accurately in the EHR and maintain organized medical records Coordinate appointments, tests, and follow-up care across the care team Support medication management processes per protocols and regulations Practice strict infection control and safety procedures in all resident interactions Communicate clearly and compassionately with residents, families, and team members Contribute to a resident-first culture, collaborating with nursing and interdisciplinary teams Vital signs measurement Phlebotomy EKG administration Medication administration support (per scope) Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Appointment scheduling and coordination Infection control procedures Geriatric patient care Patient triage and intake Medical terminology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification State-approved medical assistant training program completion
