Visitors may explore Fort Monroe, the largest stone fort ever built in the United States, alongside the Virginia Air and Space Science Center, which houses over 30 historic aircraft including the Apollo 12 Command Module. Outdoor recreation is available at destinations such as Buckroe Beach, Grandview Nature Preserve, and Sandy Bottom Nature Park, providing clinicians on assignment with varied options for leisure during time away from clinical duties. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts within an ambulatory surgery center operating room setting, following a 4x10-hour shift schedule totaling 40 hours per week. The surgical case mix is focused exclusively on orthopedic procedures, with 2-3 ORs running daily. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment.
