Operations Generalist

About the Role: Veer Plastics is a manufacturer and supplier of woven and non-woven packaging and technical textile product. Our VBuild division specializes in building weatherproofing and protection products, from roofing underlayment to building wraps, all designed to improve construction. We're growing our US distribution footprint, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Operations Generalist to own the heartbeat of our order fulfillment and logistics. You'll report directly to our Operations Manager and take ownership of order and inventory management for our US clients: overseeing freight arrangements, PO processing, inventory tracking, and client communication. You'll work across our U.S. sales and customer service team, our India-based operations hub, and with freight partners to ensure every shipment arrives on time and every client inquiry gets a thoughtful, fast response. What You'll Own Logistics & Freight Arrange freight for all inventory orders via freight brokers and LTL carriers. Coordinate with our warehouse and India team to maintain on-time delivery. Handle diversion requests, expedited shipments, and track shipments to PODs. Client Communication Manage all client-facing email for PO submissions, order confirmations, shipment updates, and order tracking. You'll be the trusted point of contact for clients across the US, representing Veer with professionalism and accuracy. Order & Inventory Management Process all purchase orders, manage incoming and outgoing inventory from those POs, track confirmations against shipped items, and own a shared inbox. You'll use Excel, project management tools, and SAP to keep hundreds of line items organized across dozens of clients. Process Excellence Document workflows, flag bottlenecks, and support the Operations Manager as we scale and refine our operations.
