To support a growing defense litigation practice, the remote Utah Licensed Litigation Attorney will manage a diverse caseload of defense matters from intake through trial or settlement, representing clients in state and federal courts while advising on coverage and risk management.
Key responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of Utah defense matters, including hearings, trials, and settlements
Represent insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and private businesses in various legal proceedings
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs while advising clients on risk and claim handlingRequired qualificationsActive UT Bar Admission
Recent experience in defense litigation
Familiarity with insurance defense and liability defense matters
Experience in handling complex commercial litigation and related legal issues
Background in district court proceedings is also considered
