About the Role: The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead its product engineering organization. This senior leadership role is pivotal in translating the company's technology and product roadmap into reliable, manufacturable, and scalable semiconductor equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for 200 mm platform hardening, 300 mm platform development, and various engineering disciplines including controls, process, software, and systems engineering. Key responsibilities include establishing disciplined engineering processes, strengthening product architecture, and aligning technical execution with company strategy, customer commitments, and quality objectives. The VP of Engineering will also be tasked with building and leading a high-performing multidisciplinary team, managing the engineering budget, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration for successful product launches and field support. Candidates for the VP of Engineering position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 15 years' of progressive engineering experience in complex industrial or semiconductor capital equipment. A minimum of 7 years' in engineering leadership is required. The role demands a strong background in systems engineering, requirements management, and a hands-on understanding of complex equipment. Experience in semiconductor capital equipment, particularly with industrial coating or thin-film equipment, and a proven track record in scaling engineering organizations are highly valued. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, highly accountable, and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executives, customers, suppliers, and technical teams.
