Packaging Operator - 100

Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for start-up, attending, operating and adjusting various packaging machines such asfillers, cappers, case erectors, tape machines, labelling equipment etc. Secures packaged items on pallets and when needed operates pallet moving equipment tomove items to and from the packaging lines to the stretch wrapper. Maintains quality standards for weights, seals/caps, appearance, etc. by machine adjustmentsand frequent quality checks. Performs minor maintenance repairs, adjustments, changeovers, troubleshooting andpreventative maintenance as required. Responsible for equipment cleaning and maintaining a clean work area and observing all safetyregulations. Fills in on packaging lines as needed. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Observes all plant safety rules.
