Job Title: Law Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a Law Clerk I to support litigation matters for a federal client. This role involves legal research, legal writing, document review, and assisting attorneys throughout various stages of litigation. Candidates should possess strong analytical abilities, excellent attention to detail, and outstanding written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct legal research using federal and state legal resources. Draft legal documents, including memoranda, motions, briefs, and related correspondence. Review documents for relevance and privilege. Assist attorneys during all phases of litigation. Support claims assessment and legal analysis as required. Maintain accurate documentation and case records.
Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree, or currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year completed. Strong knowledge of federal and state court systems. Experience using legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw. Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems. Familiarity with eDiscovery processes is preferred.
Preferred Skills: Experience in claims assessment and legal analysis. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Important Required Skills: Writing Sample Required: Legal writing sample along with their application. Primary Focus: This role involves extensive legal writing, legal research, and litigation support.
Eligibility: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
