Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for: Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to understand each client's unique needs, challenges, and aspirations. Developing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based methodologies, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy. Providing engaging virtual individual therapy sessions for adult clients, using therapeutic modalities of your choice to facilitate growth and healing. Staying informed of the latest developments in mental health through continuous professional development, including workshops, seminars, and relevant literature. Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Patient Population / Client FocusYour primary focus will be on adult clients from diverse backgrounds who seek assistance with a variety of mental health issues. This includes anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and more. By understanding the cultural and individual factors affecting each client, you will provide personalized and effective therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications: To be considered for this role, candidates must possess: A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology. An active LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license registered in California. A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, reflecting a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and client management.
Preferred Experience: While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth counseling, crisis intervention, or specific therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR) will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also enhance your efficiency in managing client documentation.
