Packaging Engineer

Packaging Engineer Our client, a leading consumer products manufacturing company, is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join their team. As a Packaging Engineer, you will be part of the Packaging Engineering Department supporting Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and cross-functional collaboration skills which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job? Develop and design innovative packaging solutions to ensure safe, efficient, and attractive product transportation and storage. Evaluate packaging materials, transportation methods, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Lead laboratory testing, plant trials, and qualification of new packaging materials and equipment. Provide technical support for packaging performance, continuous improvement initiatives, and supplier collaboration. Execute packaging projects on time and within budget while working closely with cross-functional teams. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.5-10 years of packaging engineering experience in a manufacturing or consumer products environment. Experience with blow molding and injection molding processes preferred. Strong understanding of packaging materials, packaging systems, and package testing methodologies. Ability to manage multiple projects independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. What's in it for me?
