Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 A well-established general contractor (~100 employees) with a strong reputation in hospitality construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead hotel and hospitality renovation projects. These projects are primarily across the Los Angeles area. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day field operations for hotel/hospitality renovation projects, often in occupied or partially occupied buildings Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to minimize disruption to hotel operations and guests Manage project scheduling, sequencing, and phasing to ensure work stays in compliance with plans, specs, codes, and brand standards Conduct daily site walks, quality control inspections, and safety enforcement Communicate regularly with project managers, owners, and hotel operations staff, resolving field issues in real time Maintain daily logs, punch lists, and closeout documentation
Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with hotel/hospitality renovation experience strongly preferred Proven ability to manage renovation work in occupied/live environments Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and life-safety/code requirements specific to hospitality properties Excellent communication and leadership skills; comfortable interfacing with hotel ownership/operations teams OSHA 30 certification preferred Proficiency with project management/scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) a plus Willingness to travel locally to job sites throughout the LA areaTrueBuild Partners LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
