Ticketing Supervisor Serve as a hospitality representative for the Saint Louis Zoo. Specifically addressing guest needs, from contacts over the phone and email communications. Resolving anything from answering simple questions to making changes in the ticketing system to meet the guest's needs. Provides welcoming, hands-on support in the Zoo's Call Center and Ticketing Desk by answering phones and emails, responding to guest questions, resolving concerns, and connecting guests with the appropriate department when additional follow-up is needed. Completes sales, returns, exchanges, and other approved changes in the ticketing system and maintains accurate transaction records. Processes and fulfills large ticket orders, including required documentation and follow-up, and helps ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. Supports the management team as needed with charitable-donation requests, the public asks program, and other assigned Ticketing operations. Previous customer service, hospitality, call-center, ticketing, sales, or similar guest-support experience is preferred. Candidates should have a positive attitude, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a genuine desire to help guests. Must be dependable, comfortable using phone, email, and computer-based systems, able to process transactions and maintain accurate records, and willing to learn Zoo programs and ticketing procedures. Strong listening, organization, and problem-solving skills are preferred, along with the ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods or challenging guest interactions. This position requires the ability to perform a variety of tasks throughout the workday in an office and public-facing environments. Tasks may include sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, using a computer and telephone for extended periods, and lifting or carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds. The role may occasionally work outdoors or travel between Zoo locations and must be able to adapt to varying operational conditions. Hours will fluctuate between 8 and 16 hours. The Zoo welcomes guests 363 days a year and is closed only on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Team members should be available for a flexible schedule that may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evening shifts during programs or special events.
