Business Development & Partnerships ManagerπŸ“ Florida or Texas (travel required) Β· Full-time Building the relationships that move people β€” literally. We connect cities. Thousands of passengers travel with us every week β€” students, families, professionals β€” and we do it right. Now we're looking for someone who can open doors we haven't knocked on yet. This is a brand-new role. You won't be filling a seat β€” you'll be defining what this position looks like and building something from scratch. If you thrive on networking, get energized by closing deals, and know how to turn a handshake into a long-term partnership, keep reading.πŸš€ Founding role β€” real ownership from day one. You'll be the first person in this position. That means autonomy, budget to move, and what you build here will outlast you. What you'll actually do:πŸŽ“ University partnerships β€” Own the conversion from passive stop to active promotional partner. Partner with universities so they actively promote our routes to students β€” portals, newsletters, welcome kits. We already serve students; let's make it official.🏒 B2B & corporate accounts β€” Own the full cycle: identify, pitch, close, activate. Turn companies and organizations that move people regularly into recurring clients. Group travel, corporate agreements, recurring bookings.πŸ›£οΈ Operational agreements β€” Own our stop network expansion. Negotiate agreements with rest areas, fueling stations, airports, and other locations to improve passenger experience and coverage.πŸ›οΈ Government & grants β€” Own relationships with agencies and build our grants pipeline from zero. Connect with local, state, and federal agencies. Identify and pursue grant opportunities (FTA, DOT, state programs) β€” this is virgin territory for us. You'll be a great fit if:βœ“ You have a track record of building partnerships that generated measurable results β€” not just relationships, actual revenue or value.βœ“ You're comfortable navigating both a university administrator's office and a government agency's procurement process.βœ“ You know how to work a room, follow up without being annoying, and close without being pushy.βœ“ You're based in Florida or Texas (or willing to be) and don't mind being on the road regularly.βœ“ Background in transportation, education, government relations, or hospitality β€” any field where relationships drive the business.βœ“ English fluency required. Spanish is a meaningful advantage given who our passengers are. This role is built for someone who is results-driven above all else β€” every line of this job ties back to a number, and that's by design. Interested? Send us a short note β€” not a generic cover letter β€” telling us about one partnership or relationship you built that you're genuinely proud of, and why it worked. Attach your resume and we'll take it from there.
