Physician (Family Medicine)

Job Duties: This clinic is a Basic Life Support (BLS) facility. During clinic operating hours, an on-call provider is assigned daily and expected to perform BLS. Diagnose illnesses and prescribes and administers healthcare treatment plans for people suffering from injury or disease (includes active duty service members, dependents, and retirees. Pediatric patients are not seen at this facility.) Make recommendations on improvement of work methods and organizational features. Complete required records pertaining to all medical services provided in accordance with specified procedures and regulations. Serve as a recognized technical authority in the Urgent Care Clinic, as needed. Independently formulates full treatment plans based on sound evaluation and diagnoses consistent with current and/ or evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.
