As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will play a vital role in supporting patient care within the emergency department or urgent care setting. Working under the supervision of nurses and physicians, you will assist with essential clinical and operational tasks to ensure efficient, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities: Assist nurses and physicians with patient care activities and procedures Obtain and document vital signs Perform patient care tasks, including thermal applications, non-sterile soaks, and simple dressings and splints Collect stool and urine specimens Transport patients as needed Provide coverage for unit secretary duties when needed Required Qualifications: Certified CA state issued EMT (EMT, AEMT or Paramedic) or CNA BLS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of experience in a healthcare settingl Experience in emergency services EMT certification Primary Location: Southern San Diego County-CHULA VISTA-SCRIPPS MERCY HOSPITAL CHULA VISTA Work Locations: SCRIPPS MERCY HOSPITAL CHULA VISTA, 435 H STREET, CHULA VISTA 91910 Benefit Status: FT - FULL-TIME WITH BENEFITS Minimum Rate (USD): 25.95 - Maximum Rate (USD): 32.56 In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs.
