NCPosition Summary:
Hengst North America is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing North American Aftermarket team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional who enjoys working with data, solving business problems, and building strong customer relationships. This role combines data analysis, account management, and customer-facing communication. You'll analyze sales, inventory, pricing, and market data to identify opportunities and make recommendations that help customers grow their business. You won't be selling products — you'll use data to understand what customers need, where opportunities exist, and how Hengst can help them capture additional sales. We're looking for a junior, high-potential professional who combines analytical ability with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications:
Required 1+ year of experience in sales, customer support, or another customer-facing business role. Strong Excel and data-analysis skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong organization and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working directly with customers and senior stakeholders. Willingness to travel approximately 25%.Bachelors degree or higher Preferred Automotive aftermarket experience is strongly preferred. Experience in supply chain, inventory, finance, business analysis, or customer service. Experience with pricing, RFQs, forecasting, or cost analysis. Experience working in an auto parts store, automotive shop, distributor, or related environment. Success Metrics The right person is analytical, personable, polished, and eager to learn. You should be comfortable spending part of your day digging into spreadsheets and the other part presenting your findings to a customer. Automotive aftermarket experience is a plus, but we're also open to candidates with strong backgrounds in supply chain, inventory, finance, sales, or customer service who have the analytical and interpersonal skills to succeed.
