Apply for this role →An established technology company with a long history in antenna research, engineering, manufacturing, and specialized RF solutions is conducting a confidential search for a Chief Antenna Architect. This is a rare opportunity for a senior antenna professional who wants significant technical responsibility and the ability to take advanced antenna concepts from research through design, fabrication, testing, production, and commercial sales. The Chief Antenna Architect will serve as the organization's senior technical authority for antenna technology and will work directly with executive leadership. US citizenship is required. The successful candidate will be expected to: Lead advanced antenna research and development. Design and optimize antennas and antenna systems. Develop prototypes and oversee fabrication. Establish practical, repeatable manufacturing approaches. Lead antenna testing, characterization, and validation. Solve complex customer antenna requirements. Develop new antenna products and technologies. Support strategic customer opportunities and technical sales. Identify new markets and applications for antenna technology. Develop intellectual property and proprietary antenna solutions. Mentor engineers and establish the company's antenna technology roadmap. We are looking for someone who can: Design it. Build it. Test it. Improve it. Sell it. The ideal candidate is a hands-on antenna expert who understands both advanced electromagnetic theory and the realities of manufacturing and commercial product development. DESIRED BACKGROUNDCandidates should have substantial experience in antenna engineering and several of the following: HF / VHF / UHF antennas Broadband antennas Directional antennas Phased arrays Electronically scanned antennas Microwave antennas High-power RF systems Military or government antenna systems Aerospace or communications applications Antenna measurement and characterization Electromagnetic simulation Antenna manufacturing Product development Technical sales and customer support Patents or proprietary antenna technologyEDUCATIONA bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Electromagnetics, Applied Physics, or a related field is expected. An advanced degree is desirable but not required where equivalent experience is demonstrated. WHY THIS POSITION IS DIFFERENTThis is not simply a laboratory research position. The company is seeking an individual who can bridge the gap between antenna science, engineering, manufacturing, customers, and revenue. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence future product development, create new antenna technologies, work directly with customers, and play a significant role in the company's technical direction.
