We're seeking educators to teach ELA, Mathematics, and Social Studies across grades 6–8 in a part-time, morning schedule—ideal for teachers who want meaningful classroom time without a full-day commitment. A Day in This Role 8:00 AM — Welcome students and set the tone for curiosity and respect.8:15–9:45 AM — Lead project-based learning that blends literacy, communication, and critical-thinking skills.10:00 AM — Collaborate with teammates on interdisciplinary units that connect ELA, math, and social studies.10:30–11:30 AM — Leverage technology tools—such as Google Classroom—to extend learning and streamline feedback.11:30–12:00 PM — Communicate with families, reflect on student progress, and plan next steps.
What You'll Do:
Design and deliver engaging, project-based lessons in ELA, Mathematics, and/or Social Studies for grades 6–8.Integrate literacy, communication, and critical-thinking competencies throughout instruction. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects that spark inquiry and real-world connections. Use technology (e.g., Google Classroom) to support instruction, feedback, and organization. Foster a classroom culture grounded in respect, curiosity, and academic innovation. Build strong, proactive communication with students' families.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of teaching experience (preferred).Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area; Master's preferred. Eligible for teaching certification/licensure. Deep content knowledge and a track record of engaging, project-based instruction. Ability to obtain and maintain all required background check clearances. Role Details
