Position Key Accountabilities:
- Teaches and actively maintains research productivity
- Develops a funded program of scientific research.
- Provides direct patient care activities through clinical practice opportunities with affiliated hospitals and other healthcare organizations.
- Instructs didactic coursework (online and classroom as appropriate) and mentors students.
- Other scholarly/institutional service responsibilities will be determined in coordination with the Department Chair.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in nursing or related field (Ph.D., DrPH).Eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.
Preferred: MSN or related discipline
Funded post-doctoral fellowship or history of federal funding as a principal investigator (Faculty on the tenure-track).
Certifications:
Depending upon the specialty area (e.g. CRNA, NP-BC).Excellent benefits packages and competitive pay based on education and experience are offered.
