Field Services Manager

Roles & Responsibilities: Lead, train, support, and motivate a team of professional alarm installation and service techniciansOversee scheduling, job assignments, and daily operations for installation and service projectsOversee management of warehouse and technician vehicle inventoryCoordinate with contractors and authoritiesSupervise and schedule fleet maintenanceConduct staff performance reviews and support technician developmentEnsure compliance with safety standards and company service policiesCoordinate on-call technician rotations and provide ongoing supportAnalyze department performance and recommend process improvementsQualifications: Experience in the alarm industryEligible for or able to obtain an Alarm Company Employee (ACE) license (background check required) Maintain driving record to remain eligible for company auto insuranceProven management and team leadership skillsStrong organizational skills; able to handle multiple prioritiesIntermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Google Workspace; Excel & Word) Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPhysically able to carry up to 40 pounds and safely use tools and ladders with reasonable accommodationExperience managing installation/service teams in security or related industriesFamiliarity with Sedona Office or similar scheduling softwareExperience with warehouse/inventory and fleet managementAbility to analyze department performance data and recommend improvementsExperience coordinating with contractors, AHJs, and obtaining fire alarm permitsBackground in conducting safety meetings and quality assurance site visitsDemonstrated ability to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement
