Apply for this role (opens in a new tab)To support a growing outsourced accounting practice, the full-time Senior Accountant and Manager - SEC will oversee staff accountants, prepare SEC audit and review documentation, and manage monthly financial closings while working in New York, NY.
Key responsibilities:
Assist clients and oversee the work of Staff Accountants
Prepare financial statements and disclosures for audit, review, and compilation engagements
Develop and maintain client relationships while improving financial processes and internal controlsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of experience at a PCAOB Accounting Firm
Knowledge of SEC accounting and working knowledge of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
Expertise in ASC 606, 470, 480, 805, 810, 815, 842 is highly preferred
