Pediatric 24 hour On-Call coverage includes all pediatric admissions up to 17 years old; shifts are 7am to 7am. Primarily, newborn admissions from labor & delivery unit, occasionally emergency department pediatric consults/admissions, but this is rare. If called in, providers need to be on-site within 1 hour.
