Alpha Gov is seeking a CDBG Program Administrator to administer compliant community-development grant activities across higher-education and municipal settings, with responsibility for coordination, documentation, monitoring, reporting, and closeout.
What you'll do: Coordinate CDBG program planning, application, award, implementation, monitoring, and closeout activities Maintain grant files, budgets, schedules, procurement records, eligibility documentation, and performance evidence Support environmental review, labor standards, civil rights, fair housing, financial controls, and subrecipient oversight Prepare reports, corrective-action plans, training materials, and clear status updates for grantees and stakeholders Contribute CDBG administration qualifications and past-performance narrative to Alpha Gov proposals when permissioned
Requirements
Required: Hands-on CDBG or closely related HUD grant-administration experience Knowledge of federal grant compliance, procurement, environmental review, reporting, monitoring, and records management Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites
Nice to have: Experience supporting colleges, small cities, or rural and coastal communitiesIDIS, DRGR, eCivis, or comparable grant-management systems Prior Texas or Florida public-sector grant administration
