Assembly Technician

Key Responsibilities: Precision Assembly: Build and assemble industrial machinery and small components using hand tools, written instructions, engineering drawings, and prints. Machining & Fabrication: Operate shop equipment, including drill presses, band saws, belt sanders, and parts washers. Quality & Inspection: Inspect incoming and finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure strict conformance to specifications. Material Handling & Logistics: Receive, count, store, pull, and package finished products for shipment. Safely move materials using pallet jacks or stackers and load trucks. Shop Maintenance: Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient working environment.

Experience: 7+ years of production experience, including at least 2 years in a specialized manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills: Proven ability to read engineering part drawings and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Exposure to moving parts, machinery, and elevated noise levels requires PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves).
