Travel: Approximately 5-20%, dependent on program activity

What you’ll do:
  • Plan and conduct KC-46 and P-8 production and acceptance test flights; serve as Pilot-in-Command.
  • Lead and demonstrate the full production acceptance process from preflight planning through post-flight reporting.
  • Identify, document, and coordinate resolution of flight deficiencies to ensure delivery-readiness.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute aircraft delivery, ferry, support, and functional test flights on production and non-production aircraft.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and program teams to drive safe, timely aircraft acceptance for U.S. and international military customers.
  • What you bring
  • Security & eligibility:
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required for clearance). Must meet U.S. export-control compliance as a U.S. Person under 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-U.S. equivalent directly related to the work. PIC pedigree:
  • Documented track record as Pilot-in-Command, Instructor Pilot, or Maintenance Test Pilot.
  • Certificates & medical:
  • FAA Commercial Certificate or ATP with appropriate endorsements, and current FAA Class II medical (or ability to obtain).Large-aircraft experience:
  • Time in aircraft such as C-17, P-8, or KC-46 (or comparable large multi-engine types).Compliance screening:
  • Ability to successfully complete conflict-of-interest assessment, pilot records database screening, and drug/alcohol testing.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 5+ years of related experience for Senior (P4), or equivalent education/experience mix.
  • Current and qualified KC-46 or P-8 Pilot-in-Command.
  • KC-46 or P-8 Instructor and/or Functional Check Flight Pilot qualification.
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • Type ratings in Boeing commercial model aircraft.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering field.
  • Aviation Safety Officer background.
  • Experience with structured ground and flight test procedures.
  • Licenses, medical & clearances
  • Pilot licenses: CPL, ATP Unrestricted, or ATP Restricted (as applicable).Medical: Current FAA Class II (or ability to obtain).Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Person status required for export control compliance.
