Collections & Customer Service Specialist

Location: Golden, COFull-Time

Compensation: $28–$30 per hour + overtime opportunitiesJC Porter is searching for a Collections & Customer Service Specialist for a growing organization in Golden, CO. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, account follow-up, and working in a fast-paced office environment. This role will focus on contacting customers to resolve outstanding balances, processing payments, researching account discrepancies, and providing a professional customer experience throughout the collections process.

Key Responsibilities: Contact a high volume of customer accounts to help resolve outstanding balances and bring accounts current Make outbound collection calls while maintaining a professional, customer-service-focused approach Research, explain, and resolve account variances, payment issues, and customer questions Accept and process payments, refunds, and credit memos as needed Follow up on declined or expiring credit cards and collect updated payment information Maintain accurate customer records, account notes, and collection activity documentation Provide responsive and professional support to both internal and external customers Use internal software systems and Excel to update records, track activity, and support account resolution
