Apply for this role →Personal Assistant to the Founder, Converted Closet
About Us:
Converted Closet is an emerging fashion-tech venture redefining what fashion can be. Founded by Kate McGuire, the brand has a large, highly engaged international following and is now entering its next phase of growth.
The Role:
We're looking for a full-time Personal Assistant to the Founder: someone who turns ideas into action. You'll help map out what needs doing, when, and how, keeping projects moving and everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This role suits someone who thrives on variety, has excellent judgment, and can create order out of chaos while juggling multiple priorities with ease.
What You'll Do:
Strategy and planning Act as a trusted sounding board on decisions, priorities, and project direction. Help the Founder prioritise time and focus against short- and long-term goals. Support project planning and follow-through, making sure milestones and deadlines are met. Scheduling and operations Manage a dynamic calendar, coordinating meetings, timelines, and deliverables. Help manage interns, and keep team coordination and studio operations running smoothly. Keep the studio and storage areas organised, and run occasional garment district errands. Personal Manage personal responsibilities, appointments, and household and family logistics so the Founder can focus on creative and strategic work.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree or higher. At least three years in a personal assistant or executive support role. Exceptionally organised, with systems for everything and a gift for creating order out of chaos. A genuine love of order: you notice when something is out of place and can't rest until it's right. Hyper-proactive: you spot what needs doing before anyone asks, and you get it done. Technically confident, picking up new tools and systems quickly and using them well. Articulate and polished, verbally and in writing, from a quick email to a formal proposal. Warm and personable, with a natural ease in working with people at every level. A calm, assured presence, someone others instinctively trust and take seriously. Adaptable and comfortable with shifting priorities and a varied day. No fashion background needed. What matters is strong operational thinking, reliability, and the ability to make things happen.
