Mail Clerk (Washington, DC) The MCS Group has a job opening for a Mail Clerk at a busy university located in Washington, DC. Job responsibilities include sorting mail, delivering mail to various locations on campus, and processing outgoing mail. Candidate must possess strong customer service skills and a positive approach to working in a fast-paced environment. Lastly, the candidate must be willing to complete and pass a criminal background test and drug test. Candidate must be flexible with their schedule. ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE.Office Hours 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday Occasional weekend hours as needed The Mail Clerk must be highly motivated, customer-focused, and capable of demonstrating a variety of tasks related to a university/educational environment. The associate provides a high level of quality while maximizing productivity. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Being involved in the workflow in a university environment Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted. Receive all incoming mail and packages. Process according to specific SOPs and internal delivery controls. Assist customers with mail, shipping, and receiving packages. Follow all safety requirements.
