Interventional Radiology Technologist

Medical City Dallas Hospital is seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technician to join our progressive radiology department. This challenging role demands precision and an exceptional skill set in radiological technology, particularly in a fast-paced interventional setting. As a leading healthcare provider, we utilize state-of-the-art technology to deliver specialized care, and you will be at the forefront of these operations, assisting in intricate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your expertise will play a crucial role in aiding procedures that are less invasive than traditional surgery, helping to improve patient outcomes and recovery times. Preparation and operation of advanced radiologic equipment for various interventional procedures. Assisting physicians during intricate diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. Administering conscious sedation and monitoring patient vital signs under physician supervision. Maintaining strict compliance with hospital and departmental safety protocols and standards. Collaborating with the healthcare team to facilitate coordinated patient care. Documentation of procedural steps, including the upkeep of patient records and imaging data. Continuous learning to stay updated with advancements in radiology and interventional techniques. Proficiency in operating complex radiologic equipment Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology Ability to assist in diagnostics and therapeutic interventions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Capacity to work in a high stress, fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography is preferred
