Service Administrator - Writer

Essential Functions: Provide service information to customers, schedule customer service needs, add segments to work orders containing job information Assist in the appraisal and quote process for equipment repair Coordinate parts and labor requirements with Service Manager for work orders Assist in scheduling shop assignments, field service work and delivery of equipment Establish or adjust work procedures to meet schedules and deadlines Conduct opening and closing of work orders Provide clerical assistance, including some correspondence and data entry Develop positive customer relations by accurately communicating repair status and charges for equipment repairs Greet service customers and answer calls to schedule service appointments Advise customers of estimated service and repair costs Review details of service/repair invoice to ensure customer understanding of services provided Communicate progress of repair/service orders

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required 2-4 years experience in automotive/construction service administrator role with college or technical school certificate/degree preferred Proficient computer skills, including experience with Excel Excellent customer service/communication skills
