Water Jet Technician

Location: Fort Loramie, OH

Shift: 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Job Type: Full-Time Enjoy a 3-Day Weekend Every Week Custom Foam Products is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Water Jet Technician to join our production team on second shift. If you have experience operating manufacturing equipment, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in producing quality parts, this could be a great fit. This position offers a unique four-day work week, providing a consistent schedule and three-day weekends while working with advanced cutting equipment in a stable manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate waterjet cutting equipment and manual saws Read and interpret work orders, cut sheets, and production drawings Measure materials and finished products accurately using a tape measure Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications Troubleshoot minor equipment and cutting issues Record production information, material usage, quantities, and machine settings Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support production goals while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications: Experience operating waterjet equipment, CNC machinery, saws, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred Ability to accurately read a tape measure, including fractional measurements Comfortable reading blueprints, drawings, and cut sheets Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with waterjet equipment is a plus, but candidates with related manufacturing or machine operation experience who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply. Training is available for the right individual. Schedule Second Shift Monday - Thursday 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM Overtime opportunities available as needed Overtime shifts may begin as early as 11:30 AM
