Drywall Estimator

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite / In-Person)

Salary: Up to $150,000 base + bonus potential, depending on experience

About the Opportunity: We are partnering with an established commercial specialty contractor in the Phoenix area seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial drywall, metal framing, and interior construction who enjoys developing competitive estimates, analyzing project costs, and collaborating closely with project management and field teams.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, ceilings, partitions, and related specialty construction scopes. Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements. Perform accurate material takeoffs and develop labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing. Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes. Identify potential project risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities. Prepare competitive bids, proposals, budgets, and change order estimates. Collaborate with project managers and field operations to ensure accurate project handoffs.

Qualifications: 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, interior systems, or related specialty construction. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, materials, and labor costs. Experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing detailed commercial construction estimates. Proficiency with digital estimating/takeoff software, Excel, and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Experience with exterior sheathing, ceilings, or large-scale commercial projects is a plus. Experience estimating data centers or mission-critical construction projects is a bonus.
