Job Description: The position requires the candidate to conduct music lessons to pre-schoolers at Eton House centres. The ideal candidate would be a person who can also assume a role as a teacher. Work collaboratively with children, teachers and the community of Eton House to develop a, fun, educational music/movement activities and deepens the learning that is taking place through class initiated inquiries; Create a variety of opportunities for children to express themselves and make discoveries using the children songs, lyrics and movements related to the curriculum as well as performance theme music; Meet regularly with the class teachers and curriculum coordinator to discuss ideas and connections to the current inquiries; Maintain a high standard of teaching practice and professionalism; Undertake continued professional development and share the scope of Music Teacher with the school community; Document children’s learning making connections to the curriculum. For example; portfolio entries, newsletters, community display boards; Manage and develop pre-school resources and materials for Music programme
