Millwork Estimator (Oceanside, CA)

Duties & Responsibilities: Review architectural, engineering, and interior design drawings and project specifications. Prepare detailed cost estimates for casework, millwork, and finish carpentry. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options. Analyze project requirements, create a detailed project plan, and scope of work. Work with production team to establish plans of action for successful transitions from estimating to production and project management. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing for materials. Maintain accurate records of relevant industry trends, project costs and expenses. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors regarding project details and specifications. Ensure design compliance with all relevant building codes, safety standards, regulations, and client needs.

Qualifications & Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.3+ years of experience in millwork estimating or related field. Knowledge of cabinetry and millwork materials and construction techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to read architectural drawings and project specifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with estimating software is a plus.
