Job Summary: The Printing Services Coordinator supports the full productionlifecycle of University print projects and serves as a liaisonamong University departments, Print Shop staff, and externalprinting vendors. Working directly with the Printing Services Supervisor, this position coordinates print requests from initialconsultation through production and delivery, reviews proofs foraccuracy and branding compliance, monitors project timelines, andprovides professional customer service. The Coordinator operatesand maintains commercial high-speed printers, copiers, finishingequipment, material-handling equipment, and delivery vehicles anduses Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and othergraphic-design and printing applications to prepare and assist withprint production.
Responsibilities: Estimate printing jobs and provide administrative support for Print Shop operations Process digital files and prepare print jobs for productionusing commercial printing, copying, and finishing equipment Review and route print proofs for accuracy, completeness, quality, and compliance with University branding standards Track print requests from initial concept through finaldelivery and monitor production timelines to ensure jobs remain onschedule Operate and maintain material handling equipment and deliveryvehicles. Be familiar with all design and printing-related computersoftware. Operate and maintain all commercial high-speed printingand finishing equipment and assist with daily printing and postaloperations Serve as a liaison among University departments, Print Shopstaff, and external printing vendors Communicate project updates, delays, production issues, anddelivery expectations to internal customers and vendors Consult with faculty, staff, and student organizationsregarding design layout, paper selection, production options, andproject timelines Prioritize and coordinate print requests, includingtime-sensitive projects requiring same-day completion Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent
