Apply for this role →Composite Assembler I - 2nd ShiftEaton's AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Composite Assembler I. This position is based at our Westminster MD facility and is responsible for supporting the manufacturing and production of high-precision aerospace composite components. The role contributes directly to the creation of advanced hardware that enables the safety of warfighters, supports first responders, and makes possible critical applications including aviation, space exploration, and satellite operations. Working within a high-performance manufacturing environment, this position ensures adherence to quality standards, established processes, and operational efficiency in the fabrication and assembly of composite structures. The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour + $2/hr shift differential. The shift hours are 3:00pm-12:30pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business this function you will: Completing training and enacting all steps required to fabricate and assemble a composite pressure vessel Preparing/ completing set up of your machine Mixing and preparing chemicals and resins Loading and unloading ovens Meeting daily output requirements Performing proper checks and procedures to ensure quality product Ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities Complying with all work and process instructions Participating in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement Identifying improvement opportunities Lifting up to and including 50 pounds Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures Completing and maintaining their training to meet the required level of certified elements in their position Properly managing the traceability of components to ensure accuracy
