Body Shop Technician

Key Responsibilities: Paint Preparation & ApplicationPrepare trucks for painting through sanding, masking, and surface preparation Apply paint and coatings to trucks, ensuring a high-quality, professional finish Sanding & Surface PreparationSand and prepare vehicle surfaces for repair and refinishing Ensure all surfaces are properly conditioned for subsequent repair or paint work Parts ReplacementRemove and replace minor to major truck components Ensure all replacement parts meet quality, safety, and performance standards Tools & EquipmentUtilize personal hand tools as needed Company will provide specialty and large-scale equipment Qualifications: Transportation & Work EthicReliable transportation required Demonstrated strong work ethic and dependability Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening Experience & KnowledgePrior body shop experience preferred Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and CSA regulations highly desirable Skills & AbilitiesStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset Effective communication skills Work Requirements: Work EnvironmentAbility to work in varying weather conditions and shop environments Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures Due to the collaborative nature of the work, the need for real-time coordination, and the possibility of time-sensitive repairs or issue resolution, regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this roleDue to the collaborative nature of the work environment, the spontaneous need for idea generation and execution, and the potential for expedited remediations, responses, or information gathering, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.
