Infant/Toddler Substitute Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom coverage for infant, toddler, and preschool rooms as needed Follow lesson plans, routines, and classroom procedures provided by staff Maintain a safe, supervised, and engaging learning environment Support daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, and rest time Facilitate play-based activities, group time, and outdoor play Use positive behavior guidance and supportive communication Assist with basic documentation when required (attendance, notes, etc.) Maintain cleanliness and help reset the classroom at the end of the day Follow all center policies and licensing regulations Qualifications: Experience working with children ages 0–6 in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and routines Strong communication and classroom management skills CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices What We Offer: 50% employer-paid medical insurance (for eligible full-time hours) Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture Meaningful, purpose-driven work with children and families Paid professional development opportunities Career growth opportunities within the organization To Apply: Submit your resume or a brief message sharing your experience in early childhood education and interest in the Infant/Toddler Substitute Teacher role.
