Account Executive at Stratacuity: Proven Scientific Placement
Our Boston based client is looking for a dedicated Animal Care Technician to assist their team and support part-time weekend (Saturday & Sunday) operations in their animal care facility. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of animal welfare and ensuring smooth lab workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily care for research animals (feeding, watering, monitoring health).
Clean and maintain cages, equipment, and facility spaces.
Assist with handling, restraint, and routine procedures under supervision.
Monitor animal health and report concerns to veterinary or research staff.
Maintain accurate records of care, treatments, and facility checks.
Support compliance with animal welfare regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in animal science or related field preferred.
Experience in animal care, veterinary, or research settings is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
