Maintain quality and accuracy of test results through calibration, standards, and controls. Conduct blood type, compatibility, and transfusion testing; analyze blood cells microscopically. Maintain laboratory supplies inventory and ensure equipment is functioning properly through routine maintenance. Prepare reports on technological findings, analyzing and summarizing laboratory data. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs when needed. Support laboratory operations by ensuring quality control and adherence to safety protocols.

What You Need: Required: Valid MLT or MT certification Previous laboratory experience (preferred but not mandatory) Proficiency in operating laboratory analyzers and microscopes Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills Preferred: Experience in blood banking and transfusion services Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment This position involves working in a busy laboratory setting within a leading healthcare facility in Cheboygan, MI.
